PSM -Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Process Engineer/Production Engineer/Chemicals Our client is a chemical manufacturer in the Chicago area. They are looking for a Process Safety Engineer. As a -Process Safety -Engineer, job responsibilities include the following:

• Responsible for oversight of the site -PSM -programs and initiatives
• Evaluate Process Safety incidents and provide corrective measures as needed
• Support compliance of all company, local, and state process safety regulations
• Lead -Process Hazard Analyses as needed
• Be the site PSM expert and help implement -PSM -initiatives and advise engineering departments accordingly
• Create, implement, and maintain all Process Safety Knowledge, Management and Audit Programs/SystemsJob Code: 169.21JCJob RequirementsAs a Process Safety Engineer, job requirements consist of:
  • BS in Engineering, -ChemE -is strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a Process/Production Engineer in chemical manufacturing plant
  • Must have experience in a PSM regulated facility
