Job Summary : -The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. -This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.

Required Skills & Experience : -Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment. -Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Shift(s): Nights. every other weekend. 12 hr shift. MUST PASS BRI (BASIC RHYTHM INTERPRETATION) TEST WITH AN 85 TO PASS ONCE THEY START OR CONTRACT WILL BE TERMINATED CCRN preferred Knowledge Need (additional from baseline): Ventilator settings, intubations, gtts commonly seen in MICU- pressors, inotropes, sedatives, antihypertensives, analgesics, insulin etc. paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tubes, drains, MICU typical pt population--resp concerns, OF, bipap, COPD, asthma, airway watch, DKA, OD, suicide, EToH W/D, cancer population, ARDS, ESRD, missed HD, electrolyte abnormality, pancreatitis etc. Other Special Requirements: ICU experience and level 1 trauma center experience HM will contact candidates directly to interview
